SCORES of wannabe soldiers were out in force when Kidderm-inster's Territorial Army staged an open day at the weekend.
Kidderminster's TA unit, B Company of the Worcestershire Regiment, had army vehicles from tanks to motorbikes on display during Saturday's event at The Shrubbery. Ten-year-old Andrew Slater takes a ride in an army vehicle with Major Andy Johnson.
Fire engines, latest weapons and vintage military vehicles were also on show for the event, which attracted young and old from across Wyre Forest.
Cpt Robin Attwood said the spectacle had underlined the keen interest among men and women in becoming reserve soldiers.
He said: "It was good to see so many young faces interested in what goes on here and hopefully many of them will be back once they are 17.
"People who came along on Saturday will have seen what exciting activities we have on offer in the TA."
Anyone aged between 17 and 32 who would like further details about joining the TA can call Maj Melanie Young on 0121 427 5221.
