John's in town
THE Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham will have One Foot In The Gravy when comedian John Shuttleworth pays a visit on Sunday. The Sheffield-born star is a winner of the Manchester Evening News Comedy Award and will be performing as part of his national tour. COMMEMORATING its 16th year as one of the biggest line-ups to play the UK, The Solid Silver '60s show rolls in to Cheltenham Town Hall on Saturday Featuring performers such as Wayne Fontana and Dave Berry and classic hits such as No Milk Today and The Crying Game, the show starts at 7.30pm. Sunday opening
CHELTENHAM Art Gallery and Museum is now open on Sundays, in response to demand. The gallery is now open from 2pm until 4.20pm and, to mark the new initiative, has lined up a programme of special activities and events for this month, May and June, including tours focusing on the history of Cheltenham and on the more unusual items in the gallery.
Time for jazz
A WIND band and jazz concert takes place at Pershore Abbey on Sunday between 4.30 and 5.30pm Admission is free with a collection in aid of abbey funds.
