REDDITCH Ladies were relegated at the weekend despite a battling performance against promotion hopefuls Charnwood.
The Bromsgrove Road side, promoted to the Midlands A two seasons ago, went down 2-1 after conceding a goal with the last action of the game.
But captain Angela Taylor is already thinking about a title push in the Midlands B next season.
"We came up as a third-placed side two seasons ago and although we play good hockey we've always struggled to score at this level," she said.
"We need to regroup and enlarge the squad with some youngsters.
"It's difficult without a feeder side beneath us but I'm confident we can bounce back next season."
The hosts took a first half lead but were again left rueing missed chances as the visitors cleared off the line three times before a second half fightback.
Redditch finish their season at Matlock on Saturday (11.30am start).
