PRIMARY school children enjoyed a pizza the action at a Stratford restaurant this week as a climax to a project concentrating on food.
Years one and two from Ilmington Primary dropped in to Pizza Hut to make up pizzas they designed themselves during design and technology classes.
The visit, part of a scheme operated by Warwickshire Education Business Partnership, also saw the children have a go at spinning pizza bases in a real Italian style and stuff a crust with cheese.
"They had a wonderful time and because they got to take their pizzas home, as well as getting a CD ROM and some crayons, they were over the moon," said teacher Meryl Ashley.
