Harriers were not the only winners when they met local rivals Shrewsbury on Saturday.

Three charities each went home £2,540 richer after being nominated by Harriers for a share of the profits from this season's Charity Shield game between Manchester United and Chelsea.

As part of a new Football Association initiative to provide a wider distribution of the shield profits, all Football League clubs were asked to name three local charities to benefit.

The Kidderminster club chose to support Kemp Hospice, the Ray Mercer Sporting Foundation and the County Air Ambulance and they shared £7,620.
