WORCESTER Rugby Club owner Cecil Duckworth is preparing a bid to take over Premiership club Wasps.
If the deal - which could cost up to £5m - goes through, it would mean Worcester taking Wasps' place in the Premiership and acquiring some of their top players, including ex-England captain Lawrence Dallaglio.
Mr Duckworth declared his interest after Loftus Road plc, which owns Wasps and Queen's Park Rangers Football Club, went into administration with debts of £11m.
