VISITORS to the West Midland Safari Park will be travelling around the site in style thanks to a wildly different plan to beat foot-and-mouth.
Bosses were worried a stream of cars flooding on to the popular park would increase the risk of spreading the virus, and so warned the animal reserves might stay out of bounds.
A park-and-ride facility to transport animal-lovers round the enclosures has been implemented.
