COMPUTER scientists from DERA are hoping to baffle hackers, crackers, cyberpunks and on-line spies with their latest range of security technology on display in London next month.
The Malvern-based Secure e-Business team will be showing off their newest products at the InfoSec 2001 exhibition in London's Olympia on April 24-26.
InfoSec is the largest computer security trade show in the UK and is attended by all the major industry players.
Among the leading-edge products the DERA team will be unveiling will be the "data-in, nothing-out diode" which researchers say will provide 100 per cent security. Also on show will be the latest "firewall" systems to keep hackers at bay and Sybard/Mail, a groundbreaking system which stops rogue e-mail viruses in their tracks. The 24x7 system provides managed intrusion detection in important computer systems and the Computer Forensics Service provides an in-depth post-mortem in the event of a successful network attack.
The DERA team offers advanced penetration testing of IT and telecommunications systems by security scientists.
With more than 20 years' experience, the team also runs a consultancy and risk assessment service.
