BOSS Jan Molby is convinced Kidder-minster Harriers have a number of players who have all the credentials to make a bigger impact at Aggborough.

Now that Harriers have virtually guaranteed their Division Three safety, he says: "The important thing is that we do have players who have the ability to improve. Craig Hinton, Dean Bennett, Adie Smith, Andy Ducros and Ian Foster are just some of the players I know have the potential to get better, which is encouraging."

Molby has also hinted that transfer-listed midfielder Paul Webb's stay at Aggborough could be extended a little longer if the former Bromsgrove Rovers campaigner can maintain his recent form and fitness.

The Harriers chief said: "Webby has done okay since coming back into the side and has now got a decent run of games under his belt. He is working hard on his fitness and it appears to be paying off for him."

Molby, however, still believes he was right to make the long-server available for transfer, saying: "I felt it took him longer to adjust to full-time football than it should have done. It is important for him that he plays as many games as he can until the end of the season and then works hard during pre-season. I've always said a fit Paul Webb is an asset to us."

Molby has also decided to wait until the end of the season before announcing his retained list.

He said: "We have a squad of 24 at the moment, eight of which will be out of contract at the end of the season. Any decisions I make on these players will be based on their performance over the whole season rather than in recent weeks. It is fair to say I have a good idea in my mind who I'd like to keep next year."
