The Lone Ranger's was "Silver" and his native American sidekick was Tonto.
Sorry, my boyhood was spent wearing a cowboy suit and in front of the black and white TV, circa 1953 onwards (rented from Bakers). It was a sad day when I hung up my guns and holster, both made by Lone Star.
