DANISH winger Thomas Skovbjerg aims to prove he should be a Kidderminster Harriers player for next season after his first taste of Football League action against Lincoln City.
Skovbjerg, 26, quickly showed Harriers what they had been missing as he provided width and signs of his lethal crossing ability.
His contract is up at the end of the season and he hopes fellow Dane, boss Jan Molby, will renew it.
He said: "It's been very frustrating over the last few months. I've been ready to play but there haven't been that many reserve games.
"It's nice to be back. I am quite satisfied with the way I performed. The knee is all right now and it's really a case of looking forward. I don't think you can play if you are still worried about it.
"I didn't really expect anything, it was just a case of getting started. Jimmy Conway has told me it will be up and down maybe for the rest of the season.
"I didn't expect us to lose 5-1 at Blackpool and I am quite sure Jan felt it was not the right occasion to put me on then."
