MIDFIELDER Ian Bogie hopes he has turned the corner after admitting being a "shadow" of himself this season.
Transfer-listed Bogie, a second-half substitute, fired a superb equaliser - his first league goal for Harriers -- in the 2-1 win over Southend.
The 33-year-old, who has struggled with back and hamstring problems, admits he deserved to be listed but is determined to win his place back.
Bogie said: "The substitutions were a throw of the dice by the manager because the team haven't really performed.
"It was a long overdue first goal in the league for me. I'm happy to get it and three points.
"I admit my form has been patchy -- the gaffer has been disappointed and so have I. That's why he put me on the transfer list as he expected a hell of a lot from me.
"I cannot complain, it's down to myself. I've been a shadow of myself but let's hope I've turned the corner.
"It's games I need. I can barely recall my last first-team start.
"My family is in the north and I haven't come 250 miles to play reserve-team football. I have to get on with it and prove people wrong."
