A HAT-TRICK from from 18-year-old winger Will Kershaw-Naylor helped Worcester Warriors to a 34-0 win over Weston- Super-Mare in a celebration rugby match on Saturday.
The Worcester Colts star ran in two tries in the first-half and finished off an outstanding individual performance with a try-scoring run from his own 22 in the second-half.
The Warriors were guests of Weston- Super-Mare in a special commemorative match to mark 125 years of rugby in the town.
Worcester were 20-0 up at half time thanks to the two tries from Kershaw-Naylor, a try from Worcester Under 19 wing Chris Moule and a fourth from Scott Barrow.
They increased their lead in the second half with further tries from Kershaw-Naylor and Simon Wilkes while Ian Calder made the conversions.
Kershaw-Naylor is currently a pupil at Monmouth School and lives in Newport, Gwent.
He has been playing for Worcester for two seasons and is a player with amazing potential for the future, according to director of coaching Adrian Skeggs.
He said: "It was a very positive day for everyone concerned with Worcester because the young players on show were exceptional.
"The two wingers were outstanding and it shows that the future is very positive with these kids coming through.
"It was a real eye-opener for everyone and after the Leeds game a great boost to know that the young talent is coming through."
He added: "I thought players such as Tom Warren, Tom Richardson, Neil Mason and Jon Higgens were also very impressive in what was a very encouraging day.
"It was also positive because players such as Scott Barrow and Tony Yapp came through the game unscathed and will be fit for the first team squad against Orrell."
