WORCESTER'S Robert Mc-Cracken will be banking on his new diet giving him a boost as he bids to beat Howard Eastman for the vacant European middleweight boxing crown at Wembley Conference Centre tomorrow night.

McCracken claims that he struggled to make the weight for his WBC world title fight against Keith Holmes last year when he suffered the first defeat of his career.

As a result he was not fully fit and this was reflected in a below par performance against the American southpaw.

McCracken, more determined than for some fights, claims: "I should not have fought on that occasion because of the weight problems. Since then I have been under a dietician and there have been no problems with my weight and I feel much better in myself.

"It is a fight I have wanted because I have not been very active over the last two years."
