WORCESTER'S Beatles tribute band The Beatless will get the chance to perform their very own Shea Stadium-style concert this summer.
The Faithful City's Fab Four are due to step up at Sixways stadium pitch on Friday, July 27.
The event is part of a programme of social events at Worcester Rugby Club's ground, and was planned following the success of an ABBA Gold concert held at the club last June.
More than 2,000 people were at that, the first live concert on the Sixways main pitch, and the club is hoping to attract an even bigger crowd to this special event.
"Private suites in the South Stand are currently on sale, and individual tickets will also be available over the next few months," said a spokeswoman.
The suites, which cost £200 plus VAT, hold 10 people and include a buffet or three-course meal plus a private balcony, reserved parking and waitress bar service.
Further details and information on individual tickets are available from the club's commercial department on 01905 459326 or kathy@wrfc.fsnet.co.uk.
