WYRE Forest MP David Lock is urging visitors to support two of the area's main visitor attractions.
The West Midland Safari Park and the Severn Valley Railway bring in thousands of tourists each year.
"The safari park is of great importance to Wyre Forest," said Mr Lock, who visited the park last week.
"It's a major tourist attraction and the work it has undertaken over many years to ensure the survival of many endangered species can only continue if visitors return."
The safari park has around 800 rare, endangered and exotic animals.
Mr Lock also spoke out in favour of the Severn Valley Railway, which has seen visitor numbers halved.
"The message is the railway is open, the trains are running and the views are as beautiful as ever," he said.
"Now spring has come there's no better time to explore the railway."
