WORCESTER City face their last chance for glory this season tonight as they bid to reach the Dr Martens League Cup final.
Victory over Newport County at St George's Lane (7.45) will take City through to the final for the first time in 41 years.
Defeat, however, would leave them with only third spot in the Premier Division to aim for.
But manager John Barton is confident that his side can end their three-game losing streak and reach a two-legged final against Crawley Town.
Barton said: "The next game is always your biggest, but this is something that we can possibly hang our hat on in terms of some silverware.
"It is the second week in April and we still have something to go for. The aim tonight is to make sure it goes on to the end of April."
Newport drew 4-4 at St George's Lane in a league clash on New Year's Day.
Barton added: "They will be tough opponents but I am sure they will be wary of us as well. We hope to make it a tough proposition for them as well. If we can go out and perform like we have done during our unbeaten run, we have a good chance of getting to the final.
"But we have to start the game better than we have done in the last two games."
City are likely to make changes to the starting line-up from the side that lost 2-1 at home to Welling United on Saturday.
Winger Jamie Hyde could stake a claim after impressing as a substitute, while defender Martin Weir and striker Mark Shepherd could also step up from the bench. Defender Andy Bradley (back) and striker Mike Wyatt (knee) are unlikely to have shaken off injuries.
If Worcester win tonight, the first leg of the final would be at St George's Lane on April 19, with the return at Crawley on April 26.
