MARTLEY Spurs maintained their challenge for the Worcester and District Football League Sunday Premier Division title with a 5-2 win at Pinvin United where there were two goals each for Sean Williams and Nick Clayton.
In Division One a Kevin Tyler strike kept Herefordshire House's title hopes alive but opponents Broadwas were left to rue a missed Marcus Cooke penalty and several other good chances.
Rhauiri McKenna hit a hat-trick for Droitwich Spa who won 3-0 at Beauchamp as did Steve Wood of Lakes Sports in their 6-0 victory at AFC Mazak. Ross Freeman was another hat-trick man for Plumbers Arms who beat Martley Spurs 5-2.
Bringsty Sports were 4-0 down at home to St Johns Sports but hit back to draw 4-4, Lee Skip scoring twice for Bringsty, Marcus Bentley doing likewise for the Saints.
Other doubles came from Ryan Hill of Herefordshire Bulls who lost 6-3 at All Blacks; Dean Mannion as Talbot Head beat Malvern Radar 4-2; Carl Jenkins in St Domingo's 7-3 win at Red Lion Falcons and Richard Green of Oak Apple who beat Claines 2-0.
Danny Hall netted a brace for The Albion in their 4-0 win against Express 88 as did Dave Horan of Kays who beat Malvern Premier 3-2.
On Saturday Littleton are on course to retain their Premier Division title, Des Cox and Phil Haynes both scoring twice as they crushed Hallow WMC 6-1.
There were goals galore in Division One. Oak Apple led the way, hammering Dew Drop 9-2 with Brian Hankins (4) and Steve Simpson (3) their main scorers.
Langland Sports thrashed Pershore Manor 9-1 with Stu Harvey notching yet another hat-trick and two goals from Dean Drinkwater.
Paul Bennett cracked a hat-trick for Lamb & Flag who thrashed Spetch-ley Harriers 8-0 and Lee Watts bagged two for Koinonia who went down 3-2 at home to Hanley Swan.
John Hodgetts grabbed a hat-trick as Powick beat Plumbers Arms 5-2 and Chris Collins netted a treble for Martley Spurs who won 4-0 against Bishampton.
