A BROMSGROVE entrepreneur has centralised his hi-tech business in his hometown.
Dan Huband launched Campus Systems Ltd four years ago, with funding from Bromsgrove District Council and Worcestershire County Council.
The firm makes computers, sells them and provides information technology training.
Until recently Dan had three separate sites for manufacturing, retail and training.
Now he has drawn all the departments together and opened a unit with offices in Sandy Lane.
The firm runs National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) courses. The first trainees arrived at the new premises last week.
The former South Bromsgrove High School pupil is opening a showroom at the site in a bid to expand the retail side of his business.
Currently, the majority of sales are made via mail order.
The company employs 16 people and Dan, of Central Road, Bromsgrove, is pleased with Campus Systems' success.
The business started in his bedroom and has grown phenomenally.
In 2000, the turnover was in excess of £2.5m.
The 29-year-old said: "Centralising the business has been a major task but it will pay off in the long run.
"Operations will now be easier to manage and we've cut costs."
