A COMPLAINT about a teacher working at a town school is being investigated by education chiefs.
The supply teacher was employed at Droitwich Spa High School, in Briar Mill.
Headteacher Mr Cledwyn Davies told the Advertiser: "There was an incident involving a member of staff and a pupil in school.
"Following a complaint, the matter is being dealt with using normal Local Education Authority (LEA) procedures."
A Worcestershire County Council education spokesman said: "An incident involving a supply teacher at the town's high school was brought to the attention of the LEA at a routine meeting last week.
"We understand the police are not taking any action and the LEA will now consider the incident through the usual channels."
