YOU read in the papers about badly-behaved children, unhelpful taxi drivers and long waits in hospital casualty departments.

Last Sunday, I fell in the road outside Shrub Hill Station. Four schoolgirls rushed to help, and a concerned taxi-driver took me to the hospital.

The staff at A&E were friendly and efficient and I was treated within half an hour.

I would like to thank all concerned for their help.

RUTH BEATSON,

Worcester.
