I AGREE entirely with Councillor June Tyler (You Say, March 29), learning should be life-long.
I read New Statesmen, Church Times, Private Eye, Radio Times, Worcester Evening News, novels, The Bible, theology, poetry and so on.
I also learn about life from records by Mozart, Edmundo Ros and Shirley Bassey. My weeks are far too full to fit in university.
I also do more walking lately (doctor's orders). June's encouraging letter will certainly put an added spring into my step.
GEORGE COWLEY,
Worcester.
