RICHARD Adams' latest outburst (You Say, April 5) displays an arrogant attitude by assuming he is going to win the General Election in Worcester.
I would advise him never to take voters, least of all Worcester folk, for granted.
But he also makes the revealing confession that he does not want to be a full-time politician. So if elected, he will be the part-time MP for Worcester.
I believe Worcester needs a full-time MP who can dedicate time to dealing with the many issues that arise.
I gave up my job to concentrate on being Worcester's MP. I know how much work is involved. It is not a hobby, Mr Adams, but a serious job representing Worcester in Westminster.
At least when the election comes, the people of Worcester will have a choice. They can elect him as a part-timer who doesn't even live in Worcester, or continue supporting a local person to do the job full-time.
The voters will thank you, Mr Adams, for at least being up front with your intentions.
MICHAEL FOSTER,
MP for Worcester.
