CHRISTIANS from across Bromsgrove will gather together on Good Friday to march through the town centre with a large cross.
Churches Together in Bromsgrove is marking the day with a Procession of Witness which will include prayers, hymns and bible readings.
The procession will begin at the Methodist Centre, in Stratford Road, head towards Mill Lane, and along Market Street to the Market Hall, where they will take part in a meditation.
It will then proceed along High Street to the Housman statue where there will be an open air service at 11am.
Churches Together member Kath Halfpenny said: "Christians from all churches in the town will walk through the town behind a large cross to symbolise what Good Friday really means.
"And we would like as many people as possible to join in.
"The procession is about what Jesus means to us all."
There will also be a service at the Baptist Church, in New Road, at 7.30pm.
