THE Bromsgrove branch of the Burma Star Association has come up with a model way of celebrating the national group's 50th anniversary.
It has teamed up with Models Two, an organisation which runs self-improvement courses, to host an evening of fashion fun.
A Thousand and One Tales is a clothes show with a difference -- a fashion show mixed with a variety show on the theme of the Arabian Nights.
With music from the Eighties and from the films, an insert called Prince Ali, along with top fashions for all ages and sizes, the evening, on Saturday June 2, is not to be missed.
Doors open at 7pm and tickets are £6 for adults and £3 for children which includes a finger buffet.
All proceeds will go towards charities chosen by Bromsgrove District Council chairman Cllr Ann Doyle (Con, Barnt Green).
The association was set up for veterans who served in the Far East during the Second World War.
For more details, call Ken Long on 0121 453 8595 or Models Two on 0121 453 2086.
