IN this day of the large superstore, with often impersonal service, it is refreshing when you go to a small DIY company - which people said would not survive when the large stores came to town - and get wonderful service.
I recently decided to have a new kitchen fitted and eventually chose Tony's Handyman Centre in Market Place.
The price was inclusive, no hidden costs and more than competitive. The fitter who came, Ian, did the lot.
In a day when cowboys are operating in every walk of life, to see someone do faultless work was surprising.
Thanks to Ian and thanks to Tony's Handyman Centre for a job very well done.
