PLANNING permission is being sought to create a staffroom and other amenities at Tardebigge CE First School.
The proposals involve changing the use of land behind the Church Lane school so single storey extensions can be built.
The application also includes the provision of a link corridor, new classroom, toilet facilities and a storeroom.
And a wooden shed and mobile classroom next to the playing fields are to be removed.
A Bromsgrove Council spokesman said: "The extensions are unobtrusive and have been designed to reflect the variety of roofscapes at the school, with the staffroom and link corridor having flat roofs and the new classroom an attractive symmetrical pitched roof.
"Due to the size of the plot, the loss of a section of this garden land is not considered to be detrimental to the owners of the property."
The application was recommended for approval and was due to be discussed at a planning committee meeting on Monday.
