STOURPORT Ladies firsts finished their Midland Conference programme with a 2-0 victory over South Notts.
They must now wait to find out their play-off opponents - Bournville or Bromsgrove - on Saturday, April 28.
The thirds had to concede the points in their Worcestershire Second Division match at Badsey.
Despite a brave fight, the team are almost certain to be playing Third Division hockey next season.
Bournville 2 Stourport Ladies 2nds 1
The relegated seconds were within minutes of taking a point from their final Worcestershire League First Division match.
Bournville needed the victory to secure a place in the Midland Conference play-off and piled on the pressure in the opening 10 minutes.
But the first half remained goal-less with several superb saves from keeper Fran Hinett.
After the break, despite stopping a succession of short corners, the visitors fell behind to a penalty flick conceded by Hinett in the 50th minute.
Within five minutes, Stourport drew level when Jess Trundle found Wilma Martin on the far post.
All three points were decided four minutes from time when a free hit was intercepted by the Bournville centre-forward who punished the visitors.
Fixtures, Saturday, Men: Bromsgrove v Stourport, 2nds and 4ths away, 3rds and 5ths home.
