MOTOR SPORT: A race near Stourport has had to be postponed for a second time due to the foot and mouth crisis, causing potential fixture-logging.
Hagley and District Light Car Club's annual National Championship Geoff Taylor Sporting Trial was originally cancelled due to heavy rain and rearranged for later this month.
The British Trial and Rally Drivers Association event, held at Hurtle Hill Farm, Heightington and attracting 35 entrants, is now set for Saturday, September 22.
However, Hagley fear they may have problems fitting events in as so many will have to be rescheduled until later in the year.
The British Hill Climb Championship at Loton Park, Alderbury, near Shrewsbury, has been switched from next Monday to Saturday, September 8 and Sunday, September 9.
The postponement of one of the biggest spectator attendances at the venue will cost local accommodation providers and the club.
