QUIZ buffs have failed to come up with an answer to the theft of a trivia trophy from a Kidderminster pub.
The Wyre Forest Trivia Shield went missing from the Wren's Nest pub, in Stourport Road, in March where it was on display with other trophies.
Trivia league organiser Tony Powell said: "We can't understand why anyone would want to take something which is of no earthly value to them but means a lot to others."
The disappearance of the trophy was spotted by Wren's Nest team captain Ray Baker who alerted Mr Powell.
"He hoped that it was just an April Fool's Day joke but the trophy hasn't been returned."
Mr Powell added that the shield was due to be presented to the Rising Sun team, winners of this year's league, at The Bridge pub, Stour-port, on May 1.
