LITTLETON moved seven points clear at the top of the league with this convincing win.
Littleton dominated play and nearly took the lead after nine minutes. Ten minutes later Cox scored, put through by Darren Reeves he delayed his shot until the keeper committed himself. Littleton continued to press and they scored again. Following a Matthew Edwards corner, Philip Haines side footed in from close range.
The second half followed a similar pattern, with Littleton scoring at regular intervals. In the 52nd minute Steve Pitcher drove in from 15 yards. Fifteen minutes later a Des Cox shot was fumbled into the net by the keeper.
In the 75th minute Ben Greenwood scored the best goal of the game. Picking up the ball 25 yards out he worked his way along the edge of the box then straight through the middle and round the keeper to tap in.
There was still time for Philip Haines to add his second before Tim Goodwin scored a consolation goal.
