I WONDER how many more elderly readers have received a party political leaflet from MP David Lock through their doors, professing that elderly residents are £8.40 per week better off thanks to the Labour Government.
Pensions have increased, but so has Council Tax - by 50 per cent in Wyre Forest on the level we were paying in 1997.
Petrol prices are also terrifically high for elderly pensioners who rely on their cars for visiting town and their families.
