A FARMER-LESS mixed Cleobury Mortimer side returned to action with a 64-0 friendly win at Bewdley.
The club had taken a five-week break due to the threat of spreading foot and mouth disease, leaving much of the side lacking fitness and form.
But Cleobury eased back into action before a run of four games though any farmers in the squad were left out.
There were good performances from Matty Griffiths, Paul Burrows and Chris Bunn alongside more experienced performers.
Bewdley used the occasion to gauge progress in their short existence, displaying spirit and determination to tackle to the very end.
However, the difference in class was evident as Cleobury ran in 10 tries.
Full-back Julian Harding led the way with a hat-trick, followed by prop Tony Heap with a brace, Paul Harding's first of the season and an effort from Dan Bills.
Colin Smith added a try to his seven conversions, while Kevin Shields picked up another score and Hylton Smith added to his growing reputation as a prop with pace.
