KINGS Heath will have to wait at least another week to play their Birmingham Senior Cup semi-final against West Bromwich Albion.
The game was halted against the Baggies on Saturday because of a sodden Lye Meadow pitch.
This is now the second time the pitch has intervened with proceedings and if arrangements for the next meeting fail, then a ground turnaround may go ahead.
"The players want the game switched to the Hawthorns for obvious reasons, but the treasurer feels that it's in the best interests of Kings Heath if we can play it at Alvechurch," said Kings Heath secretary Stuart Maddocks.
Now it is up to West Brom Football administration secretary to re-arrange the game.
Mr Maddocks said: "It seems to be the way of this competition that games have been cancelled - even against Stratford the game was cancelled seven times."
If all goes well, the game could be played either next Wednesday or Thursday but nothing has been confirmed.
