THE Trail of the Tiger was the title of the slideshow and talk at the March meeting.
Garry Farmer and his wife started their trail in central India where they encountered, much to their delight, numerous spiders, insects dragonflies and birds.
It was while on the back of an elephant that they glimpsed their first tiger - an indistinct brown and black creature in the undergrowth.
Their journey then took them to the north west where, on the last day of their holiday, they came across a family of tigers, including cubs.
They had finally found what they were looking for and took a wonderful set of photographs.
Members enjoyed their visit to the Palace Theatre to see La Parisienne, performed by Astwood Bank Opera Group.
The skittles night at Bradley Green also proved enjoyable, the winners being Don Cartwright and Margaret McCracken.
The next meeting is tonight, when Mrs Boaz will talk about New Zealand.
