THREE 12ft high crosses were erected at a hilltop site in Mappleborough Green on Saturday to mark the Easter period and its religious meaning.
The crosses were put up by Jon Richards, of Pastures Farm, in his high field overlooking Henley Road.
The crosses, which are to be floodlit at night, will remain in place until Easter Monday.
And on Easter Sunday there will be a dawn service at 5am, starting on top of the hill where a bonfire will be lit.
