FANS of Harry Potter will have the chance to see the steam locomotive which starred as the Hogwarts Express in the launch of JK Rowlings's latest book.
The metal celebrity has become a permanent resident on line at the Severn Valley Railway.
The bright red engine became a star during its 1,200 miles round Britain to promote Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire last year.
It's first outing is this weekend, when it is due to pull carriages on the Kidderminster-Bridgnorth line.
"It's fabulous news for us" said Alun Rees, the Severn Valley Railway's general manager. "To land the actual locomotive which started the ball rolling is a tremendous coup for us".
The engine is the former BR Southern Region West Country Class locomotive No. 34027 Taw Valley. It was restored by Severn Valley Railway in 1987, after being rescued from a scrapyard.
