WORCESTER City could push Halesowen Town closer to relegation when the sides meet at St George's Lane on Monday in the Dr Martens League Premier Division (7.45).
Halesowen are bottom of the table despite their recent appointment of Brendan Phillips as manager and the signing of several new players, including former Worcester defender Jason Burnham and ex-Birmingham City striker Ricky Otto.
But manager John Barton expects a tough game. He said: "Once again it is a situation of a club fighting their hardest under a new manager to get them out of the cart.
"Brendan would have liked more time to do the job but he hasn't got it, and they're probably coming to Worcester in a must-win situation."
City are looking for a 'double', having won 3-1 at Halesowen on Boxing Day.
