YOUR editorial (Evening News, March 26) read "Traffic is stifling city's prosperity".

What it should have read was: "Faulty appraisal of traffic problem will affect city's prosperity."

All local people are aware that, when the schools are on holiday, no traffic problem exists on a weekday in Worcester.

Putting in bus lanes to solve a problem that does not exist causes unnecessary gridlock and pollution.

The Department of Transport says that bus-lanes are a waste of space. The sooner we come to the conclusion that the traffic and buses most move together, the better.
