WHAT pathetic reasons are being constantly trundled out by New Labour regarding the election dates.
Are we expected to overlook the fact that this Government has not yet served a full term?
The truth is that the New Labour/Campbell programme, without Mandelson's input, may well come off the rails.
Having done nothing for the first two years, their plan was to stretch the timing of every policy across into the next session, thereby putting a case for a continuation in power.
A clever idea, of course, but the thinking is not about the welfare of this country.
