SCOUT and Guide groups across Stourport are preparing for their St George's Day parade while appealing for more leaders and helpers at the same time.
Stourport, Tenbury and Witley Scouts district commissioner Les Furminger said the Scout and Guide movements provide a valuable opportunity for young people but in order to ensure these are available both needed to recruit more adult leaders and helpers.
He added: "We want people to come and see the parade and talk to Scout and Guide members who will be happy to tell others of the many activities taking place.
"We do so much in the community and make regular visits elsewhere.
" I am sure there are adults out there who could join in the fun and we would be very pleased to hear from them."
You can see the Scouts and Guides parade through Stourport High Street on Sunday at 3.40pm.
