BROMSGROVE Rugby Club completed their Midlands Two West campaign with a convincing 32-3 home victoy over Old Laurentians.
They now have to wait, however, to see if they have done enough to clinch a second-in-the-table play-off position.
They currently occupy the No 2 berth behind champions Malvern, but could be dislodged by Luctonians who are just one point behind with two games left to play to complete their league programme.
Bromsgrove, however, were good value for their victory over Old Laurentians who opened the scoring with a penalty.
Fly-half Matt Birch, however, soon eq-ualised with a similar kick.
Birch then set up Bromsgrove's first try with an excellent kick out of his own 22 and virtually into Old Laurentians' 22.
Following the line-out a ruck and maul developed before the forwards drove over the line to enable open side flanker Andy Bridge to touch down.
Birch converted and then added the extra points to a David Wilkinson try which gave Bromsgrove a 17-3 advantage at the interval.
After the break they continued to call the tune and good movement in the backs resulted in full-back Ian Bailey going over for a try which was unconverted.
Soon afterwards Bromsgrove were awarded a penalty under the posts which they decided to run. It eventually led to an unconverted try for tight head prop Steve Phillips.
Towards the end young scrum half Richard Stockholm marked his full debut with a well taken try.
Stockholm had been called up because injuries to Bromsgrove's move recognised scrum halves.
