A TEENAGER missing from his Worcester home for more than a week had suffered recent personal problems and may have left the area, city police revealed today.
Officers investigating the disappearance of Ashley Stewart are following several lines of inquiry into his whereabouts.
The 13-year-old was last seen at 7am on Tuesday, April 10, in the Nunnery Wood area of the city when he left home to work on his paper round.
He is described as white, 5ft 8in tall, of slim build with mousy brown, short hair and brown eyes.
He was wearing cream combat trousers, a light blue Adidas zip-up top and white Adidas trainers with blue stripes.
Officers believe Ashley could still be in Worcester, or suspect he may be in Derbyshire.
"We're keeping an open mind into Ashley's disappearance and would appeal to anyone who with recognises him or knows of his whereabouts to contact us," said police spokeswoman Fiona Harrison.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 01905 723888.
