Dragons beware! For on Saturday, St George himself will be dropping into Redditch for a medieval street market.
The fun-packed day will see bird of prey demonstrations and street entertainment including a jester, a town crier and a longbow display.
And when not busy slaying dragons, good old St George will be collecting pictures of them from schoolchildren for a competition. With more than £200 of prizes, organisers say it's well worth entering.
A craft market, pig-roast and wandering minstrels will all add the final touch to the two-day event.
Town centre manager Jane Muckle said: "It's all shaping up to be a really interesting couple of days, so why not travel back in time to medieval days right here in the heart of Redditch."
