ALVECHURCH residents will be spilling out into the streets and village hall on Monday, as they celebrate the life of England's Patron Saint.
The village will come to life with a day of events held to mark St George's Day.
High tea will be served by members of Alvechurch's three women's institutes and the sound of bell ringing will be heard throughout the area.
The day of celebration will also include a festival service at St Laurence's Church and a social evening in the village hall, where Alvechurch Morris Men will perform their dramatic performance of St George and the Dragon.
