THREE members of a Spa family were among four people who have appeared before a court charged with affray

Sarah Biddle, aged 54, daughter Annette Biddle, 26, Paul Biddle, 19, and Dean Smith, 21, appeared at Droitwich Magistrates' Court on April 10.

They are said to have brawled with a party of South Africans in Evesham's Green Dragon pub.

Smith, of Rynal Place, Evesham, is further charged with causing actual bodily harm to one of the South Africans during the alleged brawl on December 27 last year.

The defendants made no plea to the charges before being committed to Worcester Crown Court on Tuesday May 8.

Paul Biddle, of Charland Court, is also accused of assaulting Randolph Smith on December 23 - a charge he denies.

Annette Biddle, of Farriers Square, is also charged with assaulting Louise Jefferies, stealing food and jewellery from her and carrying out a campaign of harassment.

The cases were adjourned to be dealt with after the affray charges.

Sarah Biddle, of Lion Hotel, Kidderminster, and Smith were given conditional bail, while Paul and Annette Biddle, were remanded in custody.
