RUBERY folk have no excuse for having an untidy mop - the village has a new coiffeur.
Damian Brunt has opened DJs Hair and Beauty salon, in New Road, and he says the venture is proving a success.
The shop opened on Friday March 30 and services include cutting, colouring, facials and manicures.
Two members of staff from Astrids Hair Salon, in New Road, which has now closed, have joined Damian's talented team.
Damian, aged 34, hasn't always been a top cutter - for 13 years he was a lorry driver. But he fulfilled his childhood ambition of becoming a hairdresser by going to college.
The Rubery resident said: "The business has got off to a brilliant start and everybody who comes into the salon is very impressed. I am really pleased."
