WOODROW youngsters put their artist caps on and painted a mural at their local library last month.
More than 20 children, aged from 10 to 14, helped paint the shutters of Woodrow Library after weeks of painstaking planning work with a professional artist.
The mural is just part of a major street art project as Woodrow children are attempting to attract more people to the estate.
Woodrow alliance co-ordinator Caz Joesbury said: "The children worked with a professional artist. We had planning sessions where we designed what was going to be put on the shutters.
"There are pictures as well as words and it will all be related to the library or community."
