ALVECHURCH Darts returned to the top spot in Division One after hammering Mappleborough Green 7-2.
Magic Melusi Cartwright grabbed a hat-trick while Julian Workman added two to his tally for the season. Aaron Barnett and Krys Stanton also found their way onto the scoresheet for Darts.
Droitwich Red Lion grabbed their first league point of the season in a 2-2 draw against Nailers Arms. Phil Wood and Steve Barratt were on target for the LMS Shield finalists while Nailers replied through Richard Smith and Charlie Woodridge.
Division Two action saw honours even between Crabmill and Woodbourne Sports in a 3-3 draw. Alan Reilly, Matt Prosser and Richard Cull were Crabmill's scorers as Andy Devlin, Ross Poutney and Lee McGuillan replied.
Mark Styler's two goals helped Sutton Athletic to a 2-1 win over basement boys Sight and Sound SSC, while Barley Mow had Mark Segar and Alan Gandy to thank for a 2-1 triumph over Merlin, who scored through Darren Hateley.
