JOHN Ashman refers to "the Government's recent decision to cull perfectly healthy livestock from non-infected farms."
I read that even top vets cannot determine whether livestock are infected until symptoms begin to show. If John Ashman has a way of spotting infected animals before the vets, he should let MAFF know - otherwise stop making political capital out of a serious situation.
